Lost in the Sonoran
THE SONORAN DESERT, MEXICO-ARIZONA BORDER
A remote stretch of road that cuts across the Borderlands. This unique North American desert ecosystem, which covers large parts of southern Arizona, southern California and northwest Mexico holds several indigenous and unique plants and animals- the Organ Pipe Cactus and Saguaro Cactus, Desert Tortoise and Jaguar.
These living beings are unique to the world and found nowhere else – they are directly affected- in a harmful way - by border walls, developers and climate change.
